Creative Fascilitation

Did you know people tend to give better responses to questions when they draw? Our team of facilitators use creative techniques to develop spaces for deep conversations to gather valuable information or reach the truth of a question.

Overview

Creative Facilitation uses methodologies of public engagement through the arts (painting, theatre, writing, dance, etc.) to create neutral, structured environments for meetings, public consultations, workshops and community spaces. The goal is often to support and guide participants through complex subject matter through deep and collaborative conversations.

Our facilitators create the space to support participants to navigate complex situations to reach creative and productive outcomes defined by the specific project requirements.

Creative Facilitation works best when you need to “get to the truth” of an issue, or dig deeper into stakeholders’ opinions and feelings about a particular situation, as well as to help participants delve deeper into a particular subject.

Some of our facilitated conversations have led to the following outcomes:

  • Improved library services

  • Empowered and celebrated Young Carers in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Every Creative Facilitation or Workshop project is bespoke. Our team will require as much information about the participants (such as age, accessibility needs, location, language, any known barriers to communication, etc.), the subject, and the space they will work in. We may need to develop new material for the workshop, or develop a specific programme of activities.
